Little League is one of the best things we do as a nation. Kids get together and play a game that is truly Americana. Bases laid out in a diamond shape. Hit the ball and run around the bases. Could it be anymore simple that that.
Listen to the coaches. Pay attention. Do what they tell you to do. Watch the ball. Put your glove on the ground to catch the ball.
Let the adults who know how to play the game coach you in what to do & when to do it. Go for home plate and slide.
Keep focused. Do what you have to do for that moment.
Enjoy your family after your game is over.
Our national pastime. So much like America. Straight Forward. Simple to understand. Most inclusive. The point, win.
