We have Vacation Bible School the first full week of July and I am in charge of crafts. I have a fellow worker making some of the basics, but I am in charge for bringing it all together. Since the theme is Australia "Down Under" we can use all kinds of items. Koala Bears, Boomerangs, Kangaroos, Crocodiles, and all kinds of Aborigine crafts. So I have ordered several crafts, which has been the hardest part. Making a decision. I never thought about how diverse Australia was until I got to studying great types of crafts to go along with the Bible Studies. I think it will be a great VBS. I am looking forward to it.
This year's VBS theme is Australia. "The Boomerang Express." We have had a great evening. Since I am in charge of the crafts I got together some things that are related to Australia. Most of our decorations have something to do with water, or railroads or the Out Back. Everyone has done a great job preparing their rooms.
The recreation room always is fun for the kids.
