VBS day 4 Singing, Singing, Singing

Our VBS getting into the Boomerang Express Song.

My Workers are the best. First thing they ask me is if there is anything they can do for me. Wow! What a blessing.

The theme is Australia and we are focusing on sheep and of course The Lamb of God.

The Sheep puppets that we are making is fun. It is so much fun to see the people react to the sheep puppet. No matter if you are standing right in front of them, (adults and children alike), and they know you are talking, if your puppet is in their view and the puppet looks like it is talking to you you will react to the puppet not the person talking for the puppet. Amazing how we will suspend reality.

Rosalind and her posse.

So good to know we will see each other in Heaven.

Seems like we have Gremlins getting into the cool drinks. Not good!

Our Hallelujah -Praise ye the Lord ending.

Vacation day 36- VBS Boomerang Express

This year's VBS theme is Australia. "The Boomerang Express." We have had a great evening. Since I am in charge of the crafts I got together some things that are related to Australia. Most of our decorations have something to do with water, or railroads or the Out Back. Everyone has done a great job preparing their rooms.

The recreation room always is fun for the kids.

Every room is different and well done.

J4 as the conductor of VBS and the Boomerang Express.

A special shout out to Jimmy Allen who really has helped get the crafts ready. He always has a willing spirit.

The pouches used when you are in the Out Back. The kids did really good and worked hard at getting the pouches done correctly.

Day 19 Gathering items for VBS

We have Vacation Bible School the first full week of July and I am in charge of crafts. I have a fellow worker making some of the basics, but I am in charge for bringing it all together.
Since the theme is Australia "Down Under" we can use all kinds of items. Koala Bears, Boomerangs, Kangaroos, Crocodiles, and all kinds of Aborigine crafts. So I have ordered several crafts, which has been the hardest part. Making a decision. I never thought about how diverse Australia was until I got to studying great types of crafts to go along with the Bible Studies. I think it will be a great VBS. I am looking forward to it.
